Our State of the Art Facility is located in Mandeville, Louisiana. We are pleased to offer drop off convenience locations, in addition to mail in service. Our service area has grown to include Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama for drop off convenience at local dry cleaners. Our Direct service is available for the particular customer who prefers to ship garments to us directly for cleaning and repairs. We process and usually have garments ready for shipping in 5-7 days.
Our former location, 3240 Tulane Ave, New Orleans, LA was opened in 1961. For many years, we were known as the Imperial Dye House. We dyed all sorts of fabrics, but were recognized most for servicing leather and suede garments. After more than 50 years of servicing the Mid-city New Orleans area, we relocated to a new production facility located 713 N. Causeway Blvd. Mandeville, Louisiana. (The water rose to just below the 35MPH sign in front of the old location.) The move took place in 2005 around the same time Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast. We are proud of our new facility that was able to salvage thousands of water and mildewed leather garments. Our success rate was about 95% even with the worse damaged jackets. Some of the garments we salvaged sat in sludge for an extended period of time. We utilize the latest chemicals and ozone technology to safely neutralize mold and mildew.
Presently, we have launched our new website in order to offer our service throughout the continental US. Our goal is to inform the public that Professional Leather Care is available and with routine care, leather and suede garments can last a lifetime.
