Imperial Suede and Restoration, LLC is considered the Expert in Fine Leather, Suede, and Fur Care and has operated since 1961. We use proven techniques of the past along with up to date methods to provide the best Professional Leather Cleaning available. We opened our State of the Art Facility in Mandeville, Louisiana.  We service drop off  locations, in addition to mail in service and accept walk-in business.  Our territory has grown to include Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama for convenient drop off services through local dry cleaners and shoe repair stores.  Our Direct Customer Service is available for the customer who Wants to communicate directly with the leather cleaner.  Customers across the U.S. and Canada  ship garments directly to us for Expert Leather Cleaning and Alterations.  Our process takes and 5-7 days for cleaning once we receive the garments.

Our original location was opened in 1961 in the Mid City Area, 3240 Tulane Ave, New Orleans, LA .  For  years, we were known referred to as the Imperial Dye House.  We handled all sorts of fabrics for Dye servicing, but were known best for providing Professional  Leather and Suede Cleaning.  After over 50 years of Cleaning Leather in the Mid-city area of  New Orleans , we moved  to a new production facility located  Mandeville, Louisiana. Hurricane Katrina's flood water rose to the 35MPH sign in front of the old store.   We moved in 2005 about the same time Hurricane Katrina blasted the Gulf Coast. Our new facility  was able to save thousands of Mildewed and Flooded leather jackets.  The success rate of our recovery efforts was about 95% even on the worst flooded jackets.  Some leather jackets sent to for remediation sat in  nasty sludge for many months.  We use the most up to date chemicals and ozone techniques to safely neutralize mold remediation.
